As a Bosnian-born refugee and genocide survivor who was raised on Chicago’s south side, Ermina's life experience has given her a unique voice and perspective. For the past five years, she ran an integrated marketing communication agency, providing communication and partnership management support to social-mission driven businesses and creatives. In 2024, Ermina made the bold decision to close her business and embark on a new challenge.
